Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu spoke during the press conference ahead of the Coppa Italia final against Lazio, emphasizing that his team has earned their place in the showpiece event after a remarkable season. Having already secured the Serie A title, Inter now aims for a domestic double. However, the Romanian coach downplayed the personal significance of such an achievement, stating: “This victory won’t change anything for me. I am happy for the players, because I found a team that matches my ambitions. That was clear from the start, from my meeting with Lautaro after the Club World Cup. The strength of this group lies in their constant desire to preserve what Inter represents.”
