UCAM Murcia defeated a determined Bàsquet Girona 86-75, setting a new franchise record for wins in a single season. With 22 victories and four games remaining in their 28th campaign in the Liga Endesa, Sito Alonso’s side continues to impress. The win—their eighth in the last nine matches, with the sole loss coming last week at Real Madrid—keeps them firmly in second place.

The second period remained tight, with Jaylen Hands stepping up to keep UCAM ahead (25-23). The game lacked spark until a 0-5 run gave Girona the lead again (25-28), prompting Sito Alonso to call a timeout. Radebaugh continued his hot hand, scoring 15 points (five triples) as the scoreboard showed 39-33. David DeJulius, the Liga Endesa’s second-leading scorer, struggled from the field but drew 10 fouls and went 10/11 from the free-throw line, finishing with a +26 efficiency rating. Despite being outrebounded by 17, UCAM led 45-41 at halftime.
After the break, the second-placed team pushed the lead to 10 points thanks to Radebaugh’s sixth three-pointer and a three-point play from DeJulius (55-45). However, new signing James Karnik kept Girona alive with eight points in the third quarter and 20 overall. UCAM couldn’t fully break away until back-to-back triples from Toni Nakic and Hands gave them a 68-58 cushion entering the final frame. Howard Sant-Roos, Hands, and Michael Forrest took over down the stretch, sealing the win against a Girona side that never stopped fighting despite a dismal 4-of-28 shooting from beyond the arc.
