French central defender Florian Lejeune will remain with Rayo Vallecano for at least two more seasons. This is great news for the Vallecas side as they gear up for the return leg of the Conference League semifinals against Strasbourg on Thursday.
The club made the announcement official this Monday. “Florian Lejeune (34) and Rayo Vallecano have reached an agreement to extend his contract, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2027–28 season. Since joining the club in the 2022/23 campaign, Florian has been a key player in the first team’s successes. To date, he has played 157 official matches and scored 11 goals. We are very happy to continue our journey together, Lejeune!”
